Obituary

Martha ‘Marty’ Rosalia De Taranto
(Martina Rolsalia Panzarella)

Marty passed away peacfully surrounded by loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday morning, July 9, 2014 in Winchester California. She was born on September 4th, 1952 in Manhattan, New York, the daughter of Dina and Anthony Panzarella. She was a beloved wife of Leonard De Taranto Sr., with whom she shared 42 years of marriage.

Marty was a graduate of Cal High in Whittier CA class, of 1970.

Marty spent her life helping others. Her passions in life were decorating her home, gardening, and spending time with family. Dinner on the table every night with family was a must! She deeply loved spending time with her grandkids Giovanni and Anthony. She was a strong Sicilian Mother who always did the best she could with what she had. She was dedicated to her career in New Home Sales for over 15 years. We are so happy she is pain free, but she is deeply missed by those left behind.

She joins her Father Anthony Panzarella in heaven. Surviving are Husband, Leonard De Taranto Sr.; Daughter, Angelina Dina De Taranto Tambe; Son, Leonard ‘Lenny’ De Taranto Jr.; Mother, Dina Panzarella; Brother, Lee Panzarella; and two Sisters, Nina Randall, and Jeanie Salandra; Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
