  1. Mark Tague and his family lived up the street from my family on Baruna Lane , Huntington Harbor. Mark was friends with my brother Tom and I . Mark was always the guy that was smiling and laughing. One of my greatest memories of Mark was when he played “Santa” on “The Yellow Submarie” boat ,the Boat Parade Theme idea created by my brother Tom Testa and built by Tom Testa, Mark Tague, Jeff Silver and other kids. As the Beatles song ‘yellow submarine’ played, their creation drove through the H.H. Canals and won a H.H. Harbor Boat Parade Trophy!
I will always remember Mark as the guy who was always smiling and so friendly to everyone!

  2. I grew up in the Harbour and spent a lot of time with Val, Mark’s sister, and Mark was always smiling and ready to get Val all worked up. Typical brother and sister stuff. To have him leave this world so early is so upsetting.

  3. Wow, I was planning to see Mark on my next trip to California. Just found out this morning that you were gone. We hadn’t seen each other in decades. It was a unique time of our lives we shared in SoCal in the 80-90s. We were a small group that shared a vision that morphed into Platinum Software and Altec. It was fun for a while, I am glad Mark, to have known you……

  4. Mark was one of the good guys. If it weren’t for Mark and Bob, I would have never been able to buy my first home at the age of 24. It was a privilege to have known you.

  5. I just found out of Mark’s passing and I am deeply saddened. The whole team at Platinum from our early days made such a huge impact on my life. Mark will always be remembered fondly by me.
