Obituary
Dear friends and family,
With heavy hearts, we sadly share the passing of Mark McGowan on Thursday, June 21, 2012. Mark was on his way to meet an old friend when he tragically slipped and fell down a flight of stairs outside his apartment. Although paramedics valiantly tried to save him, his injuries were too great to overcome.
Surrounded by his immediate family, Mark will be laid to rest at Ascension Cemetery located in Lake Forest, CA close to his parents home. Although we are saddened to say goodbye at far too early an age, we take comfort that Mark will forever reside in our hearts as a loving son, brother and uncle with a joyous spirit and kindhearted soul.

Jim, Cathy, Jim, Meredith and family,
I just wanted to let you all know how heavy my heart is for you all. I had not seen Mark for years until we were on FB together. I just remember how nice it was to hear from him and how caring he was. I remember fun times with him in high school when we all used to hang out. Such great memories with you all. I think of you often and hope that we will be able to meet up sometime soon! Lots of prayers going out to you for peace and comfort. Big hugs to you! May God bless you today and always!
