IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marjorie R.
Tenhundfeld
August 31, 1931 – June 21, 2023
It is with faith in the enduring power of the Risen Jesus, that I want to thank you all for your support and for coming today to celebrate our loving mother on behalf of myself and my three sisters.
Words cannot completely capture the inner beauty of Mom and the legacy she leaves behind in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Our Mom was also a loving wife for over 60 years, a daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
Mom had an enduring commitment to her faith. Most importantly she practiced that faith in her every day actions.
It is difficult to purely love other beings for exactly who they are, but our Mom did just that with all 5 of her children. She delighted in our uniqueness. (Most days anyway). With a few thoughtful words, she encouraged us to use our God-given talents in a way that helps others. She also had an uncanny way of perfectly timing a few kind words that could help us soften our less attractive traits without ever denting our self-confidence.
Our sister, Laura, and her children join us by streaming and share their remembrances of Mom (Grandma) as nurturing, guiding and teaching them to love; of being proud of them and always encouraging; the image of love, warmth and kindness. Always there for a listening ear and the best hugs. Mom had an uncanny ability to bring people together, especially over food. She bore adversity and pain, all with Grace and unwavering belief in God. She showed us how to be strong by watching her inner strength.
In return for a life of kindness, Mom was cared for in her final years by a special group of earthly angels: Mike, Camille, Josie, Alice and so many others.
May the Lord Jesus welcome her to her eternal home, reunite her with Eric, Dad and all those who have gone before and share peace and joy that knows no end.
Marjorie is survived by her four daughters: Teena Spindler, Diane Linderman, Laura Davinski and Monica Tarr along with eight grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
