Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mario Almaraz, loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who peacefully passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 72. Born in 1952 in Mexico, Mario’s life was a beautiful reflection of his warmth, generosity, and devotion to his family.

Mario was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Margarita, with whom he shared more than five decades of love and companionship. Together, they created a home full of warmth, laughter, and a bond that was unbreakable. As a father to Laura and Mario Arturo, Mario provided guidance, love, and unwavering support throughout their lives.

Mario was also known for his passion for making salsa and guacamole, a talent that brought people together and filled many homes with the irresistible flavors of his creations. His salsa was more than just a condiment; it was a symbol of his love for life, his creativity, and his desire to share joy with others.

Mario is survived by his wife Margarita; his son Mario Arturo (Kristen); his daughter Laura (Vernon); grandsons Martin (27) and Max (23); granddaughter Makena (13).

Mario’s legacy will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of experiencing his warmth and kindness. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will continue to inspire those who loved him.

Rest in peace, Mario. You will always be loved and never forgotten.
