My Dearest Mom My Angel
You were the most beautiful and understanding woman on earth. Always a kind word and love for everyone that come to your path. You were one in a million. Mom thank you for raising me and giving me a good education and always to have faith in God no matter what. You always had a special place in my heart. I will never forget when I was getting married with all the sisters and friends that I have I choose you Mom to be my Matron of Honor. This was the beautiful day of my life not only that I was marrying the man of my life but I had my Mom standing by my side when we exchange our vows. The last months you had on this earth you were so close to me in Walnut where I could visit you almost everyday and once again share the prayers, songs, poetry that you taught me.
Friday December 2, 2011 was a day that I would never forget My Mom wasn’t herself. It was hard for me to call my sister Jackie and tell her to inform the other sisters that Mom will be taken by Ambulance to San Dimas Hospital and to please come as soon as possible. The ICU doctor and nurse did everything to make Mom comfortable. But when the ICU nurse called me around 1:20 AM I knew that was the end. I had to once again call my sister Jackie to come and meet me at the Hospital. I was still in denial refuse to believe that Mom was gone. Couldn’t help yelling and screaming Mom don’t leave me don’t leave us but the nurse told me she went in peace and didn’t suffer.
Mom I will never say Good Bye but I will say until we meet again.
Mom you will always have a special place in my heart.

What a good, gentle, religious, super Mom, super Grandmother and great-grandmother, great friend and dignified lady she was!!! We all loved and respected her. She referred me as her 6th daughter and I was proud of it. She made me so happy whenever I called her. I always asked her if she recognized my voice, and she would say, “Of course, I know it’s you, Maryse! How could I not regonize my 6th daughter’s voice!? She had such warmth and affection that one felt good after a chat with her on the phone. She was a talker and had good stories, but she also remembered to inquire about each person in particular, Papit, Bobby, Sedrick and Chiara. I know that she is with God now, the God she loved so much, resting and happy. She is one of His angels. She was dedicated to her children and loved them so. I know she never recovered from losing our dear Yanick. God gave her a long life, time to enjoy even her great grandchildren and great grandnephews and great grandnieces, and she loved them all. We will miss her dearly but she will always be in our hearts. We know that she is in heaven watching over all of us whom she loved so much. Good-bye, Mom!!! We love you, Bobby & Maryse
