Obituary
Marie Schnackel, fondly known by all as ‘Aunt Marie’ was born Sept. 8, 1926 in Troy New York to Mabel and Pedro Zamudio, passed away Oct. 27 2011 at home in Laguna Woods.
Marie worked as a Spanish Interpreter for the Superior Court of Calif. while she lived in Mountain View.
She is survived by her sister Patricia Masters, her son Warren and numerous nieces and nephews. Her extended family meant the world to her.
Marie’s ashes will be placed in a niche at Gates of Heaven, Los Altos, CA Nov. 10 at 2:00 p.m.

I met Marie in the late 80s or early 90s when she was working as a spanish interpreter at the Sunnyvale Court in Santa Clara County. She was always so positive and helpful. When she moved to southern California we stayed in contact via the phone and mail, and eventually email too. She will live on in our memories. And I will miss her! – Joe C.
