Marie Marcia Thomas of Coto de Caza, California, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2022 surrounded by her family and loved ones.  Marie was born on August 17, 1924 in Oxnard, California and was the daughter of Mary Winifred and James Patrick McLoughlin. She attended Immaculate Heart High School and later Marymount College.  Marie was a graduate of the University of Southern California where she earned her Bachelors of Science and her teaching credentials.  She was an active member of the Pi Beta Phi Sorority.  Marie was predeceased by her husband of 71 years, Robert W. Thomas.  She is survived by her sister, Mrs. John Younkin of Tustin, CA and her five children: Craig Thomas (Laguna Niguel, CA), Marcia Czarnecki (Mechanicsburg, PA), Mary Victoria Taylor (Trabuco Canyon, CA), Maureen Thomas Parks (Capistrano Beach, CA) and Cynthia Dickson (Trabuco Canyon, CA). Marie had deep affection for her ten grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Marie is remembered as being a beautiful reflection of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Everyone who knew Marie commented on her lovely smile and graciousness.  She never hesitated to share her faith with others as well as a kindness.  Marie was a loving wife and mother who is beloved by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and she will be greatly missed.
