MARIE MATILDA GLASS
December 1, 1926 – October 12, 2024

GLASS, MARIE MATILDA born in Port Huron, Michigan, she was one of six children of Gordon and Eva Talbot. She was a longtime resident of both Garden Grove and Aliso Viejo.

Marie was the beloved wife of Charles Glass for 48 years who preceded her in death in 1998. Cherished by her five children, Cathy (Royd) Frost, Mary (Erwin) Spitz, Nancy (Bruce) Ramshaw, Diane Riddle and John Glass in addition to her seven grandchildren, Sheri (Michael) Sandler, Nicole (Darryl) Odell, Dale (Gretchen) Hickman, Bobbie (Charlie) Dall, Amanda (Greg) Stratton, Mike Spitz and her nine great grandchildren, Lauren, Joseph, Cassidy, Cody, Nate, Jack, Lindsey, Haley and Anna.

She enjoyed holiday parties, family picnics and BBQ's, fishing, and visits to relatives in Long Beach, Las Vegas and Port Huron. She was a lifelong Detroit Tigers fan and enjoyed neighborhood friendships.

She retired from Pacific Bell where she had worked for 20+ years as an operator. She will be remembered as a kind and selfless person and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 11:00am at St. Nicholas Catholic Church 24252 El Toro Rd. Laguna Woods, CA 949-837-1090.
