Marian Taylor – Nana, as she was known to most, returned to her heavenly home on Saturday morning July 25th. Her devotion to family and God supported her and ultimately gave her peace.

Marian was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana and moved to Los Angeles in her teens. She worked as an operator for the phone company for more than 20 years. Marian met her husband, Compton Taylor, at a party and they were married in 1950. They were married for 40 years and had two children.

Marian spent her afternoons enjoying soap operas and taking care of her family. Her passion was travelling. Always ready to entertain, she knew how to have a good time and celebrate life. Marian was a friend to all, and could make anyone feel like family.

She is survived by her children, Marla and Tony, and her grandchildren, Jessica and Madison.

Marian was strong, warmhearted, and a blessing to anyone who knew her and will be deeply missed.
