Marian J. Spaulding was born in Arcadia, California on November 6, 1943. She was the only child of Jeanette and Milton but had many families, aunts, uncles and cousins whom she loved. She had a great childhood but felt she suddenly grew up and put that behind her when her mother died when Marian was 16. Marian received her Associate of Arts degree from Orange Coast College, business school. She worked for Lockheed-Martin and Ford Aerospace for 34 years and retired as an executive secretary. She loved to travel the world and did a lot of cruising with friends. But the center of her life was her church family. Over the years she volunteered with children, hospitality, secretarial, prayer team, visitation and anywhere else she was needed. She made friends wherever she went and was part of many families. Her Christian beliefs were something she faithfully lived out her whole life and she will be missed. She passed peacefully in her sleep on November 23, 2021. She had not been ill and was working on many projects right to the end. She is an example to all of us of a well-lived life.
