Marian Clark Farber was born on January 7 th , 1935 to David and Nellie Clark of Vesta, Nebraska.  With family by her side, Marian passed away peacefully on September 17 th , 2025, in Orange County where she had lived for over 60 years.

One of six children, she was part of a close-knit family that shared many holidays and celebrations over the years in both Nebraska and California.  Marian graduated from a small one-room schoolhouse and went on to earn a B.A. from the University of Nebraska.  She was a proud lifelong Cornhusker alumnus.  Go Big Red!!  She later went on to earn a Master's degree from Pepperdine University.

Marian was a high school teacher for 38 years and part of the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District for over 50 years.  As a teacher, she had many lifelong friends, and as a testament fellow teachers and former students' admiration of her, many kept in contact to this day.

Living in Mission Viejo in retirement, she had many friends and was an active member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, Daughters of the American Revolution (D.A.R.), the Bead Society of Orange County.  She was also a long-time docent at the Bowers Museum.

Marian was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Nancy L. Farber-Pena and survived by her son Stuart L. Farber Jr., daughter in-law Jane and grandchildren Dean and Ellie Farber.  Family services are tentatively planned for the spring of 2026.
