Maria del Carmen Landry Siverio was born May 8th 1935 in San Jose, Costa Rica.

From a young age Maria had a dream of becoming a nurse. Coming to the United States with her family in 1953, She learned the English language and enrolled at California Hospital School of Nursing in Los Angeles, ultimately graduating with honors. While in her nursing residency, Maria met her future husband Richard Francis Landry who was a patient in the hospital at that time. Shortly thereafter they married. Maria had three children: Richard, Annette and Michelle. Maria went on to obtain her Bachelor's Degree and rose to the top of her field as a Supervising RN. A devote Catholic she loved Jesus and the Saints. She was active in her community and always put others first. Maria was a loyal wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed…. Grief is Love eternal!
