Obituary

Hoffman, Margaret Wolf, 83, of San Clemente. Active in American Association of University Women, Church Women United, League of Women Voters, Friends of the Library at Saddleback College, and many educational and community services.

Survived by sister Helen Hauser; sisters-in-law Helen Wolf and Sandra Gillogly; sons Gary Kim Gillogly, Michael Ginger Gillogly, Waldo Kelly; daughter Sharon Robert Clairemont; nieces Kris Bob Blower, Kathy Hansen Tim Crawford; nephew Ray Gillogly and grandsons Daniel and Isaac Ostmann, Loren Gillogly. Foster mom to over 40 infants.

Memorial mass, Our Lady of Fatima, San Clemente, Jan. 12, 10 a.m. Interment at Ft. Rosecrans, Point Loma at date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to AAUW, American Association of University Women Memorial Scholarship Fund, 949-496-9428.

  1. Margaret will be missed by all of her AAUW friends and she had many friends. She was the lady with a smile and a million ideas to put to work. Margaret was a shining example for all of us. The world needs more people like Margaret. She gave so much of herself in many ways

  2. Margaret was instrumental in my joining American Association of University Women here in San Clemente, she proofread my “Sea Breeze” newsletters. She was a tireless worker in many areas. we will miss her.

  3. Margaret was a woman of integrity. She never wavered from doing what she thought was right. She gave of herself to many venues. AAUW was one that she treasured and AAUW in turn treasured her. She will be missed. She was always loved.
