Margaret Ann McArdle passed away at the age of 83 on January 12, 2023.  She is survived by her children, Colleen Tavares, Kathleen Andrew, Jennifer McArdle, and William McArdle; her grandchildren, Connor Tavares, Olivia Dowd and James Andrew; sons-in-law, Michael Tavares and Jim Andrew.  Margaret was the wife of the late William McArdle until his death in 2019. She was fourth of ten children born to John and Julia Walsh in 1939 in Boston, Massachusetts following their immigration from Ireland.

Margaret was beloved for her fierce spirit, loyalty and selfless nature. She loved to share stories and be with people, her sense of humor and outgoing personality made her a dear friend to all.   She thought of everyone's children as her own.  She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to so many.

Visitation of Margaret "Margie" will be held on Monday, January 23 ^rd , 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at O'Connor Mortuary, Laguna Hills.  Funeral mass will be Tuesday, January 24 ^th at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Newport Beach with interment to follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, Orange.
