Marcia R. Clayton

Marcia Clayton, 86 of Lake Forest, CA, formerly of Laguna Woods, died peacefully when God took her home on October 9, 2019 at Respit Manor, Lake Forest, CA.

Born at home in Scotia, New York, Marcia was the daughter of the late Edgar and Rosalie Condon. Marcia was preceded by her loving husband of 51 years, Warde Clayton and her two sisters, Madeline Hoyer and Agnes Condon.

She is survived by her brother, Edgar (Patricia); three children, Jeffrey (Lesley), Andrew (Patricia) and a daughter, Carolyn (Jim); seven grandchildren, Jenna, Nickolas, Rachel, Cody, Austin, Daniel, Judith; one great granddaughter, Catalina and several nieces and nephews.

Marcia retired from Xerox Computer Services in the 1990's where she specialized in many aspects of the computer world for 30+ years. She and Dad enjoyed traveling and managing real estate. They did everything together. She hosted numerous parties and family reunions all over the US and Mexico. She continued to travel and visit with family as much as she could until her passing. She loved In and Out burgers and it was coffee that flowed through her veins.

She was a member of the VFW and Cabrillo Theatre for many years. She enjoyed being part of activities and playing poker, trips to the casino was one of her favorites.

She was a really good and loving Mom and Nana, she said what she was thinking and you always knew how she felt (good and bad). We will miss her forever but we know she's at peace and happy to be "Home".

Funeral services will be held October 24, 2019 at O'Connor Mortuary, Laguna Hills and Interment following at Riverside National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
