Marcella M. Callan, 86, of Laguna Woods passed away peacefully on October 1, 2014. She was born in Toronto, Canada to John Clyde and Ruth Drohan Mahon. Before moving to California, Marcella lived most of her life in Arlington, Virginia where she had a successful career in the telephone industry. She enjoyed traveling abroad, sewing, playing bridge, and walking her canine companions. Preceding her passing were her husband James L. Callan and her brothers Robert and John Mahon. Survivors include stepdaughters Diane Deadwyler (John) and Bonnie Long (Randy). She had five grandsons, 11 great-grandchildren and numerous loved ones in the Mahon and Callan families.

Services and reception will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 1 PM, O’Connor Mortuary Chapel, 25301 Alicia Pkwy., Laguna Hills, CA 92653, 949-581-4300. A private burial will be held in Washington D.C.
