Obituary

We are deeply saddened to announce the demise of our beloved mother, Mrs. Kamalamma Nair on August 9, 2019, in Laguna Hills, California. Wife of late Major V. T Nair, she is survived by her daughter Anitha, son Arun, and their families. A loving wife, an amazing mother, a caring mother-in-law and a dedicated teacher, she left an indelible impression with her kindness and selflessness.

A Presidential Teaching Award recipient, she was an inspiration to her students, and helped shape the lives and careers of many.

We will miss her dearly but she will continue to live in the hearts of those she loved and cherished.

Our deepest condolences to you and your family; especially Deepti, Pratik and all the grandchildren.

To lose both your parents within such a short amount of time is a heartbreaking loss. They have made an indelible positive mark on everyone they touched and now are at peace with one another.

Don’t forget that they will always be watching over you.

    Love,
    Jyothi, Ramu, Nishi, and Ajay

  4. Nair Miss foundly called a great human being who taught us Biology. A commited teacher we all respected who took at most care on her students.
Being Mom of Arun our friend, we used to visit her house. She had a great love on all of us. Some of our friends visited her at-home in Chennai, still remember how she took me all round the farm showing all the plants she had grown. We really miss a great human being. May her soul rest in peace.

  5. Our prayers are with Anitha and Nair family.
