Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and devoted daughter and niece, passed peacefully in Laguna Niguel.
A first-generation Californian born of Spanish immigrants, “Lula” was raised in Los Angeles during the Golden Era of Hollywood, attended Inglewood High and later, UCLA. She carried her love of movies and Hollywood throughout her entire life.
Lula worked for a number of prominent Los Angeles attorneys as a legal secretary when she met her husband of 67 years, William “Bill” Reilly, also of Los Angeles. Eventually they moved to Orange County where they raised their six children, Michael, Timothy, Stephen, Cecilia, James and Richard. In addition, she selflessly cared for her mother and uncle.
Lula enjoyed travel, fine art and art history and throughout her life was proud of her Spanish heritage and active in Spanish American society.
Lula was deeply loved and will be remembered by many including her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister, nieces and nephews.

Rosary for Lula will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 29102 Crown Valley Pkwy, Laguna Niguel, 92677 at 9:30am followed by the funeral mass at 10:00am, then going to Ascension Cemetery for the graveside service.
