Obituary

Loydele dedicated her life to loving her family and her friends. She helped women & children in need through the Soroptimist International, Saddleback Valley chapter, and worked with the Lake Forest Garden Club learning about plants and garden care; mentoring young children & beautifying the local landscape.  She shared with teenagers the idea of “Dream it, Be it”, a program to help young girls grow up to be confident, happy, successful adults.

She was able to see much of the world in her travels with Soroptimist.  She was a successful business owner, loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  Her grandsons were her pride and joy.  She loved her garden, reading, and puzzles.

She was happiest entertaining family & friends in her home, including “Rummikub afternoons” on Saturdays.  She was a strong & independent woman, kind and wise.  She smiled easily and laughed often.  She always had a positive attitude.

She will be greatly missed by many, especially her immediate family; daughter Brenda, son-in-law Garrison, grandsons Joseph, Tristan, and Tanner, brother & sister-in-law Roy & Barbara Stryson, nephew Eric Stryson, sister-in-law Pam Kehler.
