Obituary
Skinner, Lowell Sherman, of Laguna Niguel, died January 29, 2013. He was born in Los Angeles on May 24, 1929 and was a life long resident of Southern California. As a young man, he traveled the world in the Merchant Marines and joined the navy during the Korean war. He worked on the Apollo project in the late 60’s at North American Rockwell. He was a retiree from Southern California Edison.
Lowell is survived by his four children, his younger brother and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10am, Monday, February 11 at O’Connor Mortuary – Laguna Hills Chapel. He will be buried at Riverside National Cemetery.

Dad was a proud man. Lived life on his own terms. He liked to spend his later years reading his newspapers and watching Fox News. He always had an opinion on politics.
Each afternoon he would check to see what kind of sunset the day would hold. On the day he died the sky was a brilliant orange and pink, beautiful. I like to think that was a special nod just for him. I love you Dad. xo Diane
