Louis Michael LaPorte, 83
February 28, 1934 – June 15, 2017

Louis Michael LaPorte, 83, of the Laguna Woods, California passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 15, 2017. Born in Chicago, Illinois and has resided in Southern California for the last 39 years.

Louis is survived by his wife Demetra of 62 years, daughters LouAnn LaPorte, Cheri (Dave) Ryan, Deena Mennella, son Gregg (Denise) LaPorte, brother Michael (Cathy), grandchildren Anthony and Vincent Mennella, Cody Ryan, Marissa Piccolello and many loving friends and extended family. Louis was a loving husband, father and friend to all.

Louis was a passionate man who loved people and worked successfully for Belden Wire and Cable in sales for over 32 years. In his spare time he enjoyed restoring his 1964 Ford Falcon Ranchero, fishing, football, horseshoes and food (especially pizza and pasta).

A special thank you to Verona Court and Parentis Health for your hospice loving care and support for Louis. Also thank you to Christopher and Christine at O'Connor mortuary for making a tough time a little easier. And Keith Page the celebrant who described Louis's life-style and love for family to the T.
