It has truly been a long time since Lou was active as my assistant Scoutmaster in Troop 328 and since Lou and Annita introduced us to the wonderfull of Square Dancing which we still enjoy till this day. Lou was a wonderful person and truly lived up to the ideals of the Scout Oath and Scout Law. We are so sorry and extend our sincerest condolences to the family

I am privliged to have know Mr Soeder. I was in scouts with him as one of my leaders, he was a lot of fun and always positive. I became best friends with his son Jeff and spent many hours at their house. I was always welcome and treated so well. I will miss Mr Soeder, I only wish I could have been around like the days gone by and visited him. God bless his wife and family,he will be missed. Michael Pagenkopp

I met Lou many years ago through the marriage of his son, Jeff, to my dear friend Dianne. Over the years I attended many family events and was priviledged to get to know Anita and Lou. Lou will be greatly missed as he was loved by all of us. My heart goes out to all of the Soeders in this time of loss. Love, Annie

I have good memories of Lou and Anita visiting my Mom & Dad’s house for lunch and dinners. Lou was a quite man but had many interesting conversations with my Dad. He was both wise and kind. I never heard Lou complain about anything. He was always greatful for good family, friends, food & drink. We will miss him dearly.

Some of my earliest memories include Anita & Lou as they were our neighbors in Norwalk from the time I was 3 years old until I was eight. They were great friends to my parents, Jack & Ruth who are also gone now. My sisters and I were very saddened to hear of Lou’s passing. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to Anita as well as Scott & Jeff and their families.
