Lou Stringer, 91, former major league baseball player with the Red Sox and the Cubs passed away Sunday, October 19th. Lou resided at Freedom Village in Lake Forest. He is survived by his wife, Wilma; daughter Lynda, son Tom, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Santiago de Compostela Catholic Church, Lake Forest, on Thursday, Oct. 23, at 10:00 a.m., followed by burial at Ascension Cemetery.
