Lorraine Marie Barron passed away peacefully on October 9th, 2019 surrounded by her family. Lorraine was born on August 4th, 1948 in Astoria, Oregon to Jesse Max Harris and Leona Harris. She grew up in Santa Barbara, CA with her one younger brother, David Harris.

While attending Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, she met and fell in love with her husband, Gary. They married on April 19, 1969 and enjoyed fifty wonderful years together. She was a loving, dedicated mother to her four children (Sharla Fox, David Barron, Daniel Barron and Sara Johnson)  and was beloved by her children-in-law (Michael Fox, Karen Barron, Irma Barron, and Nicholas Johnson). She loved spending time with her nine grandchildren.

She worked for the State of California as an Employment Specialist for 17 years, which suited her helpful and organized nature. She was a faithful and engaged member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served as a missionary in Leeds, England for two years.

She will always be remembered for her wisdom and gentleness and living a life of kindness and service with no need for accolades.

Services will be held on Monday, October 14th at 11am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 22851 Aliso Creek Rd, Aliso Viejo, CA 92656
