It is very sad to here of Scott’s passing this past week. I was a childhood friend and I have many great memories of growing up in Long Beach with him, playing sports, going to school, and enjoying our teenage years together with George, Dennis, Mike, Buddy, and Joe. My older brother Larry said he was a cool dude and a pretty good surfer. My brother drove us to many surfing spots before we were old enough to drive and Scott was always one of the first to stand up, ride a wave, and run a rack of balls on the pool table. My prayers and thoughts go out to the family and it is my regret that I moved away and lost track of him for the past 40 years. I’m sure he will be missed by all and from one of his childhood friends please accept my sincere condolences to all his family and friends.

  2. I never had the honor of meeting Mr. Morris. But from Sarah, Travis, Taylor and Addie, I know what a great man he was. I also know he is greatly loved and will be terribly missed.
Even though we know he is with God now. I know this is a very difficult time for his loved ones. I pray for strength and peace for them. And know that you will be with him again.

  5. We send a fond farewell to a dear and special friend, who will be greatly missed. We have known Scott for over 40 years and have been fortunate to share in family vacations – twice to Lake Powell where he pulled me out of the water after a failed water ski attempt!, many Christmas Eve celebrations at their lovely home, our children were friends with their children, Ken and Scott played cards together – we have so many fond memories. One time he visited us at our condo in Winter Park and we hiked the Rockies with him – he was so fun and so physically fit he carried all the packs! It is so sad he was ravaged by this horrible disease. Scott always had a smile on his face and laughter in his heart. He will be greatly missed. Thanks for the memories dear friend. Love, Beverley & Ken
