Born on December 30, 1941, she grew up in Bogota, New Jersey. Linda was the beloved daughter of Thomas and Kathryn Vietoris. She was the devoted wife of the late Theodore "Ted" Hodges, and a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Linda attended Douglass College, where she earned her Bachelor's degree, and went on to complete her Master's Degree at Brown University. Linda taught biology and AP biology for over 60 years-including 32 cherished years at Rosary High School. Linda loved to travel – her most recent adventures were shared with her loved ones in Malta, Florida, Newfoundland, and her annual family Shaver Lake camping trip.

Linda lived a life of faith, service, and love. She was a dedicated member of St. Columban's Catholic Church in Garden Grove where she served as a Eucharistic Minister, Lector, and on the Women's Council and numerous parish committees. She was also a docent at Christ Cathedral since its opening in 2019.

Linda is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Mark Ricciardelli and Faith and Dennis Agius; her stepchildren, Robin and Richard Dustow and Todd Hodges; and her beloved grandchildren, Teddy, Fiona, Gianna, Brennan, and Elise; six step-grandchildren Kirsten, Scott, Nicole, Alex, Ryan, and Bryce; and eleven step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Jack and Tom, her stepdaughter-in-law, Virginia, and her beloved husband, Ted.
