Obituary

Linda-Lee Trauffer, 82, went home to be with our Lord and Savior, peacefully at home on February 1, 2023. Linda was born in Long Beach California on August 5, 1940 to parents Frank and Pearl Leonard. She was raised by her mother and loving grandparents Irving and Catherine Foster.  Linda is preceded in death by her sons Richard whom she lost at birth and David Michael who passed in 2012. She is survived by her husband of almost 61 years Fred Trauffer, daughter Meri Ann Galbraith, son-in-law Mark Galbraith, grandchildren Chantelle, Crystal, Cory and Channing Shore.  Daughter-in-law Kristy Shore and son-in-law Aaron Heflin. Great grandchildren Ryann Bouquet, Gavin Bauman, Heflin, and Cooper Shore.

Linda and her husband moved to Orange County shorty after they were married where they raised their family, spending the last 47 years in Laguna Hills, California.

Over Linda’s long and beautiful life she had the extraordinary ability for touching lives.  She had an eye for everything beautiful and the talent to create what she saw through her artistic ability.  She was a few classes from obtaining her bachelors in theatre arts at Long Beach State University.  Linda used her education to design costumes and sets, for many school programs as well as wedding dresses, gowns for beauty pageants and endless clothes and costumes for her four grandchildren. Linda’s gift for mentoring women was a lifelong endeavor, as she was involved in many ministries through Reverence Bible Church in Mission Viejo.  Whether it was quilting blankets for babies to be sent to other countries or making jewelry for the healthcare workers who cared for her, she was always giving to others.

A celebration of life will be held at Reverence Bible Church, 22081 Hidalgo Mission Viejo, CA 92691, Saturday March 4 at 1:00 pm.
