Lin Sue Marelic, a.k.a. Siri Erda Arjan Kaur, passed away peacefully in Mission Viejo, CA on November 4, 2024 at the age of 73. Born on December 30, 1950, Lin led a vibrant life marked by her dedication to education, passion for music, and entrepreneurial spirit.
Lin graduated from Atlantic City High School in 1968 and later earned a Master's degree in Education & Computer Technology from Pepperdine University. Her career was diverse and impactful, including roles as a teacher, musician, entrepreneur, IT management trainer, MIS Manager at Disney/Partner's Federal Credit Union, computer consultant, webmaster, and spiritual gangster. Lin's professional journey was characterized by a commitment to innovation and helping others succeed.
Beyond her professional life, Lin was deeply passionate about music and holistic practices. She was actively involved in sound healing events with gongs and singing bowls, African djembe drumming, beach drum circles, and performing on keyboard with a local band. Lin was also an avid music and movie enthusiast.
Lin's family was paramount to her. She is survived by her husband, Branko; stepson, Kristoffer Branko; step-grandson, Kristoffer Jon; stepdaughter, Melissa Mary; cousins Rosalie, Sheila, Phyllis, Rose, Kenny, & Len; brother-in-law Eddie Campbell; niece, Lisa & nephew, Ed Jr. Lin was preceded in death by her parents, Ann and Donald Herman, and her sister, Ronnie Campbell.
A service to honor Lin's life will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 2-4pm at O'Connor Mortuary, 25301 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Hills, CA 92653. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Lin's memory to the American Cancer Society and/or the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Further details can be found at the American Cancer Society and ASPCA official donation websites. Lin's legacy of kindness, creativity and community involvement will be remembered by all who knew her.
