Obituary

LILLIAN L. LIEBL

Passed away peacefully on January 21, 2009 with family at her side. She was born in Saskatchewan, Canada on July 21, 1919 to Philemon and Eva Marie Beaubien. Lillian was married for 62 years to Warren Liebl, who passed away in 2003. She and Warren had six children, Gary, Dennis, Dave deceased, Nancy, Debra and Kevin. She had 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Lillian spent most of her life as a ‘homemaker,’ proudly raising her six children. However, she also held a variety of jobs including working for the Ice Follies in their costuming department. She loved entertaining, square dancing, clogging, golf and volunteering at her church. She and her husband were very active in Costa del Sol in Mission Viejo, CA. Most recently, she lived at Park Terrace in Rancho Santa Margarita where she was known fondly as ‘the Flower Lady’. A rosary will be said at 8:30am and a memorial mass at 9:00am on Monday, January 26th at St. Kilian’s Catholic Church at 26872 Estanciero Drive in Mission Viejo, CA 92691. The family is suggesting donations to the St. Kilian’s Building Fund in Lillian’s memory in lieu of flowers.
