Obituary

LESTER GEORGE SEBOLD 87

Born on August 4, 1918 in North Bergen, New Jersey. Died on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 in San Juan Capistrano, California.
 
The youngest of eight children of George and Nellie Sebold, Lester was born in North Bergen, New Jersey, in 1918, where he was raised and attended school.
 
An employee of Kraft/General Foods? Birds Eye Division for 45 years where he was an operations manager, Lester worked in New York, Oregon, and California.  He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.
 
He married Alice Miles in 1940 and was a loving father to three children:  Margaret, Jill, and Joseph.  After Alice’s death in 1979, he married Rose Cundari and retired to Rancho Bernardo, where they lived for more than 20 years.
 
Lester was active in his church parishes, serving as an usher and fundraiser.  He also was active in the Rancho Bernardo Lions Club, serving as a President and a fundraiser for the annual White Cane Drive.
 
Lester is survived by his devoted wife, Rose; loving daughter, Margaret of Dana Point, CA; Jill and son-in-law, Thomas Fox of Laguna Niguel, CA; beloved son, Joseph of Corona, CA; beloved sister-in-law, Claire Sebold of Ridgefield, NJ, and several nieces and nephews.
 
A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 ~ 10:00 A.M. at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, 33926 Calle La Primavera, Dana Point, California.  

Private interment at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Orange, California.
