I remember Leon from my 5th grade class at Diamond School and on thru high school, and we talked once at a mall about his Mom, with whom I worked briefly, and how the family was doing. Leon was one of the “good guys” and was a dear and noble soul. The world has lost a dear one.

If you knew Leon, you know what I mean when I say he was one of the greatest and strongest men I have ever known. He was a mix of all things good…..he was humble, honest, funny, intelligent, fair, faithful…he loved his family no matter what and was so proud of them all…..he was a man of few words, but somehow got his point across…it didn’t hurt that he brewed great beer and was a handsome devil, to boot! We are going to miss him terribly, but are so grateful that he is finally rid of that body that betrayed him so! Leon, we love you! -Jeff and Nono

  3. Even though I did not know Leon well in high school, he will be sadly missed by the Santa Ana Valley Class of 1967. Blue for Valor, Gold for Worth.

Just wanted to send our thoughts and prayers to Nan, Amber, Ryan, Andrea, Ty, Trent and Reece on the death of Leon, a devoted husband, father and grandfather. I am so thankful for our trip to California in 2010 and the time we got to spend with your family….an evening at Jan’s pool showed just how crazy Leon was about his family. A wonderful visit and fond memories of a great man who will be sooooooooo missed!!! I will be thinking about all of you.
