Obituary

Leila Mae Davis of Laguna Niguel, Ca. passed quietly in her sleep on 04/26/09 at the age of 88.  She was born in Malvern, Arkansas in 1921 and was preceded in death by her husband George E. Davis.

She is survived by her three children, Bill Davis of Dana Point, Deena Pierce of San Diego, and Suzi Osuna of Palm Springs, and her five grandchildren, Serena, Jordan, Harrison, Andrew and Anna.

She was an exceptional woman, and a wonderful mother that bestowed upon her family a strong sense of faith and compassionate, mothering love.  She will be missed so much, but with the sadness is the joy that she has gone home to be with Our Lord and Savior.  We love you, mom.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Williams Syndrome Association.

    Dear Deena,
Accept my sincere empathy in your difficult time. And think that your beloved mother will be watching you always.

    Bill, Deena, & Suzie,

I worked with your mom at Disneyland at the Main Gate for several years. I stayed in touch with her at Christmas and her birthday. Lee was so much fun to work with. We would work hard, but also take time to laugh, have a good time, and share stories about our families. I was always up to speed on what all of you were doing through her cards and messages.

Bill, I really appreciate you taking the time to write me the letter. Thank You! I was very sad to hear that Lee was not doing well. She certainly did not want to live that way or be remembered that way.

I know she is very happy being with her beloved Bud again. She is not with us anymore, but she will always be in my thoughts and prayers. I will always remember seeing her in costume with those big glasses and a very big smile on her face!

    Take Care.

  3. I love you Aunt Leila May! Im gonna miss getting lost in Disney Land with you!
