Obituary

Leila Mae Davis of Laguna Niguel, Ca. passed quietly in her sleep on 04/26/09 at the age of 88.  She was born in Malvern, Arkansas in 1921 and was preceded in death by her husband George E. Davis.

She is survived by her three children, Bill Davis of Dana Point, Deena Pierce of San Diego, and Suzi Osuna of Palm Springs, and her five grandchildren, Serena, Jordan, Harrison, Andrew and Anna.

She was an exceptional woman, and a wonderful mother that bestowed upon her family a strong sense of faith and compassionate, mothering love.  She will be missed so much, but with the sadness is the joy that she has gone home to be with Our Lord and Savior.  We love you, mom.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Williams Syndrome Association.

  1. Wish I could have been there, we all loved her so very much, she will be missed dearly. She always made me smile, thanks for sharing her. Randy and I wanted to bring dad out there but he just is not up for the trip, he is suppose to have knee replacement but is putting it off. I love all of you guys, ever want to visit the door is always open.

  2. Dear Bill, Deena and Suzie,

I remember meeting your Mom the first time your Dad brought her to our grandmother’s house for dinner. I was nine years old. She was so friendly and sweet to me so naturally I loved her from the start. I stayed with your Mom and Dad at the house on Atoll so many times over the next few years. She was always so good to me and fun to be with. I have 60 years of wonderful memories and always appreciated her kindness to grandma and her loyal friendship to my mother. I will miss her.
May she rest in peace with God and her beloved “Bud”. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

With love and sympathy for your loss.

    Carol and Ole

God needed another Angel…and what a wonderful one he got. Above all, God knew he needed a protector for us all. Aunt ‘Lil, I will forever love and miss you. When I look @ Mom, I will think of you and the good times we always had when visiting, never stopping, always busy, whether @ Disneyland or Palm Springs…Love you forever.

Deena, I’ll always remember your Mom as one of the kindest and most giving people I’ve known. Everytime I’d see her she’d amaze me with her energy and hospitality. I have fond memories of both your parents and pray that God will comfort you and bring you peace.
