Obituary

Leila Mae Davis of Laguna Niguel, Ca. passed quietly in her sleep on 04/26/09 at the age of 88.  She was born in Malvern, Arkansas in 1921 and was preceded in death by her husband George E. Davis.

She is survived by her three children, Bill Davis of Dana Point, Deena Pierce of San Diego, and Suzi Osuna of Palm Springs, and her five grandchildren, Serena, Jordan, Harrison, Andrew and Anna.

She was an exceptional woman, and a wonderful mother that bestowed upon her family a strong sense of faith and compassionate, mothering love.  She will be missed so much, but with the sadness is the joy that she has gone home to be with Our Lord and Savior.  We love you, mom.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Williams Syndrome Association.

I always got a kick out of talking to the “rebel” from Arkansas. She was a fine mother, as evidenced by her son and daughters. God bless you all in your loss of a special lady.

  2. Dear Bill, Deena, Suzie, and families,

We share your grief and wish we could be with you for the memorial service! We will always remember Aunt Leila Mae as energetic and fun. She was my Nana’s best friend in her latter years and we were glad to see her so often too–even at our small wedding. You and she are all in our thoughts and prayers right now.

    Love,

    Cara, Kevin, Devon and Meredyth

    Bill, Deana and Suzi,
Our sincerest condolences on the loss of a wonderful woman. She will be forever in our hearts and prayers. I will always remember Billy calling her the “old coot”.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you! Your Mother could light up a room her smile and her girlish ways… She will be missed! Leila Mae has now been reunited with her beloved husband…in Heaven.

    All my love – Cris
