Lee Wallace Liddle

Lee Wallace Liddle passed away on May 23, 2026 in Mission Viejo, California at the age of 95. She was born on February 13, 1931 in the Bronx, New York.

Lee met the love of her life, George Westley Liddle, in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Together they raised their family in Tustin, California before later settling in Rainbow, in San Diego County, California, once their children were grown. George, along with their son Ralph William Liddle and daughter Bonnie Smith, passed before her.

She leaves behind her sons Michael Wallace Liddle (Sally McGee Abraham) and Drew Westley Liddle (Leslie Liddle), along with Aleta Harmony and Brian Floyd Smith, and her grandchildren Anthony Liddle, Spencer Jared Liddle, Madisen Elise Wilde, Nelsen Andrew Liddle, Josie Liddle and Leo Abraham Liddle.

Lee held a degree in Art and had a true talent for painting, creating works that reflected her creativity and eye for beauty throughout her life.

Music was her greatest love, and she played piano, guitar, banjo and ukulele with real passion. During her years in Palm Desert, she found great joy strumming with the Palm Desert Strummers, a traveling group based out of the Joslyn Center known for performing in costume around town, bringing music and smiles wherever they went.

She will be remembered for her creativity, her devotion to family, and the joy she brought to everyone around her.
