Mom, I love you and miss you. Thank you for believing in me and for all your love. Thanks for giving my children the grandmother I always wish I had.

Marcus, We are deeply sorry for your loss. We are fortunate that we had the opportunity to meet your mother, she was a wonderful woman. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family through this time.

Mom, I miss you. I promise to be everything you wanted in me. I know this is what you wanted but I still have a hole in my heart that I’m having trouble dealing with. I’ll take care of Dad in your absence. Better to say all us kids will work to take care of Dad. We talked about it many times before you left us: you were a great mom. Thank you for everything.

Grandma,
I’ll never forget the time you took me out to breakfast at Mimi’s Café with you and your friends. I’ll never forget how you bought me the fourth Harry Potter book because you saw how excited I was it came out. I’ll never forget the family dinners, parties, and holidays with you. I’ll never forget that you made gumbo the best. I’ll never forget the video of my first birthday when you sang and danced. I’ll never forget your hugs or your laughter. I’ll never forget how happy I was when we’d go to your house.
I’ll forever remember you. I’ll forever miss you. I’ll forever love you.
Love, Wendy
