Obituary

Dr. Lauro M. Gaurano, 78, was born August 14, 1930 in Dolores, Luzon Province, Philippines and passed away November 1, 2008 at home in Laguna Niguel, CA. Dr. Gaurano attended the Manila Central University College of Medicine in Caloocan City, Manila, Philippines. He also attended Hahnemann University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Gaurano established a private practice as an Internist specializing in cardiology in Indianapolis, Indiana for seventeen years. He then relocated to California, practicing medicine in Long Beach and Anaheim for an additional eighteen years. He was married for forty-one years to his wife, Renate. Dr. Gaurano is survived by his sons, Dr. Herbert Gaurano and Luis Gaurano; daughters, Christine Jarjura and Annekatrin Haerle. He also has seventeen grandchildren. A Visitation will be Wed. 11/5/08 from 4:00-6:00pm at O’Connor Mortuary, 25301 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Hills, CA. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 7:00pm, also at O’Connor Mortuary. Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery, 10612 E. Washington, Indianapolis, IN.
