   Laurie was such a positive, bright person, always wearing a smile. She was so creative and loved life, and everyone in her life. Never did she compain about her hurts, always caring about the other. What a wonderful wife and mother she was. As long as we remember Laurie…she will never be truly gone. She will live on in us forever.

   Dearest Dave, Bridget, Andy and Matt…
   You mother reminded me of sunshine and flowers. She was so happy and positive. The heavens are brighter with Laurie among its angels.

   I remember how much I enjoyed working with Laurie at Portola Hills Elementary when she taught the art classes. She loved teaching and especially loved teaching the art classes. It was always such a joy to come into the classroom on the mornings she was in my room to teach. We had a few quiet moments to catch up on the kids and what was happening in their lives. She was so proud of you and loved telling me what you were up to.

   Laurie was a special lady and I will keep her in my heart and thoughts always.

   Dave & Family – Please accept my heartfelt sympathies on Laurie’s passing. A warmer, brighter spirit I have yet to meet. Your family’s kind welcome to me, a few short years ago, when we gathered at your home to celebrate milestone birthdays for the Maguires, will never be forgotten. Kind of heart and gentle of soul, I know Laurie is now at peace and trust warm memories will ease the sadness of your fine family and dear friends.
