  3. I met Laurie and her family many, many years ago at the Lane County Fair in Eugene, Oregon. We spent lots of time together and her daughter and mine were only 20 days apart in age. She was one of my very dear friends for several years however we gradually lost touch after I moved to Salem. I have so many dear memories of her, Lowell, Shawn, Scotty and Michelle. I talked with her when Lowell was ill and we spoke of getting together again. I am sorry that never got to happen. I tried to call her several times but knew she was having health issues. I will always remember you young and beautiful and so much fun. God Bless you Laurie. I am glad I knew you and treasure the memories I have of you. Rest in peace sweetie.
