My cousin Laurie was such a special woman: courageous, funny, and a reminder to all of us that whatever life hands us, we can deal with it. We are sure that she had her dark days, but somehow she always seemed to end sunny-side-up, with a smile or a laugh and definitely a big hug whenever we met. We will miss her always. Our thoughts and prayers are with Aunt Jean, and all Laurie’s brothers and their families. Words can never be enough. We love you all.

Laurie was one of those friends that I always knew I could count on to listen, provide advice or just have a good laugh with. I had the pleasure of working with her for many years and long after our VeriFone days we remained close. Her smile and positive attitude always amazed me as she didn’t let life get her down. Her laugh was the best!

I will miss her greatly but know that she is in a better place watching over everyone.

My heartfelt condelences to the entire Andersen family – she will be missed!

My friendship with Laurie has spanned 2 decades and while it started when we worked together at Verifone, it continued long after I moved to the east coast and changed jobs. She always welcomed me to her home when I visited and we would talk for hours about our days at Verifone, the many crazy adventures we had and the people we knew. She listened to all the crazy stuff in my life over the years and we shared a special bond. Despite big challenges along the way, she was positive and lived life to the fullest.

I will miss our chats but I know heaven opened it gates for a special angel.

My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

My cousin Laurie was one of the strongest, most positive people I’ve known. Despite difficult challenges she remained upbeat, never complained and pressed forward with her life. She loved her family so much and always looked to the future. Her smile and caring ways were quite infectious. We’ll miss her very, very much.

With all our love and wishes for peace in the hearts of her loving mother, Jean, and the rest of her wonderful family.
