  1. Laura shared her love of our Lord with me 35 years ago, and he has been in my heart ever since. We used to sit on the grass at school and she would read scripture to me. I will miss my friend but I will carry her memory with me until we meet again. Rest in peace Laura, I Love you

  2. Dear Laura and Family

Psalms 78:2 God and His People
I am going to use wise sayings and explain mysteries from the past, things we have heard and known, things that our fathers told us. We will not keep them from our children.
I first met Laura in Jr.high in Garden Grove. I too remember Laura sharing Jesus with me as Russell. She loved to read the King James version, in which I did not understand, it was not my lack of understanding that drew me, it was her beauty and her willingness to share Jesus with others. We both moved away. A few years back my sister Sandie told me, Laura was looking for me. I always had Laura on my heart, so it was by the goodness of God we were able to reconnect. Laura told me she loved to study prophecy and the end times. I too, have the gift of prophecy so it was a wonderful surprise for us, also, we found out our daughters shared the same birthday. Another wonderful surprise. Laura sat me down at the piano and played this song she wrote about “Moses” leading the children of Israel out of the wilderness. I cried and was so impressed upon the same passion I remembered back in Jr.high. As we move forward, thank you Sue and Tawny and the beautiful grandchildren for the gift of Laura in my life. She will leave us here with a stronger faith and following, till we see her again.
I will see you soon Laura, I love you and always will.

    Love, Anita

  5. I have not expressed my condolences to All of the Collier family. I was here reading some of the warm words written to our family about my own daughter Vanessa’s passing. I wondered if Laura was cared for here and found that she was so I thought I would take this time finally to express my remembrance of Laura. We used to ride the school bus together and a few times gave her a ride home from school. I remember how she was always smiling and her eyes were so bright and cheerful. She was always kind and friendly.I will always remeber that about her. I am sorry for not sharing my condolences sooner but hope that your pain has lessened some and that you have grown to understand that these things can seem so senseless but somehow we learn to accept that it is all part of something much bigger. God Bless your family and know that Laura is in a better place.
