Obituary

Kuei Chih “KC” Chou Cheng of Laguna Woods, CA passed away on July 12, 2024, after a short illness at the proud age 100 (born 10-11-1923).

She was born in mainland China and moved to Taiwan after WWII, where she raised her children. She Immigrated to Northern CAand later to Southern CA.

She loved and was disciplined to go on walks and tai-chi every day. She enjoyed gardening, walking in her community, playing Mah Jong and spending time with family.  At countless family meals, she lovingly prepared everyone’s favorite dishes and was a wonderful home chef.

Her legacy of gratitude, resilience and joy of life will live on through her family.  She was preceded in death by Pai-Ping Chou (2003) and Johnny W. Chou (2002).  She is survived by 6 children, 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.  She will be forever loved, remembered, and dearly missed by family and friends.

Funeral Celebration will be held at O’Connor Mortuary and Graveside Service at El Toro Memorial Park.
