Obituary

Kristen Jarecky, 39, of Dana Point, California, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on November 29, 2025.

Kristen was a loving daughter, daughter-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, and auntie. She was raised in Hollister, California, where she grew up surrounded by generations of family. She and her husband of 15 years, Bryan, were inseparable. Having met in high school, they were lucky enough to be considered high school sweethearts. Kristen and Bryan shared a unique bond, enriched by shared laughter, mutual support, cherished memories, and countless inside jokes.

Kristen carried herself with a calm confidence that inspired trust. She was bright, loyal, endlessly curious, and unfalteringly authentic. A consummate foodie and travel-lover, she delighted in savoring her favorite flavors, experiences, and places. Kristen held herself and others to high standards while remaining endlessly humble and kind. Wise and discerning, others relied on Kristen for her keen judgment. Her dry sense of humor and genuine, infectious laugh will be dearly missed.

Professionally, Kristen served as a Senior Paralegal at Tricon, helping to house thousands of families across the United States and Canada. Colleagues admired her wise judgment, unassuming leadership, and her unique style of providing savvy legal guidance with patience and clarity. In recognition of her talent and leadership, she was slated for promotion to Managing Paralegal in 2026. Before Tricon, she spent six years at Irvine Company; earlier in her career, she was a Paralegal at The Judge Law Firm. She earned her B.A. from San Francisco State University in Political Science and English & American Literature.

Kristen is survived by her husband, Bryan Jarecky; her parents, Janet and Sami Hindiyeh; her sister, Kaitlyn; beloved nieces; and her cherished cat, Potato. She was excited to welcome a new nephew in 2026.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring of 2026. Details will be shared with family and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the following organizations Kristen held dear: Ark of San Juan and Griffin Cares Foundation.

Kristen’s laughter, integrity, and warm spirit will be remembered always by those who were fortunate to know her.
