Obituary

Kenneth (Kenny) Eugene Tonkovich “Boppy” was born July 22, 1936 in Great Falls, Montana and passed away May 15, 2017 at his home in Irvine, California surrounded by family. Kenny was a General Contractor for 50 years, inventor, race boat driver, NASCAR fan, slot machine aficionado, sportsman, sports fan, traveler, and a very proud American. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and enjoying life.

Kenny is survived by his daughter Debbie Gray and her husband Alan, son Kenneth W. Tonkovich and his wife Katie, 3 grandchildren Ryan Gray (Michelle), Abigail Wogoman (JD) and Kenneth Robert Tonkovich as well as 4 great-grandchildren Layla Tonkovich, Henry Wogoman, Lucille Wogoman and Gabriella Gray. He is also survived by his brother Paul Tonkovich (Janet) of Irvine, nieces, nephews and treasured friends. Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife Seanne Faye Tonkovich, brothers Dick Tonkovich and Don Tonkovich.

Kenny’s life will be celebrated with a Memorial Service June 10, 2017 at 1:00 pm at O’Connor Mortuary, 25301 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Hills, CA 92653. His family requests that you please do not wear black to his service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your favorite charity in Kenny’s name.

    Just looking at my old boat racing pictures, saw Kenny’s boat, wondered what
    he might be doing. Raced a bunch with him when I lived in Cally. Sorry to see he’s not with us any more. Bob Parker
