Kenneth George Oleyar, 77, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2019.

Originally from Stratford, CT, Ken moved his family to California in 1973. He settled in Mission Viejo where he was a long-time member of the Mission Viejo Elks Lodge.

He was a talented machinist who could repair or build anything. Ken retired at age 55 and enjoyed many years travelling all over the world. He most enjoyed his time in Hawaii, and his quick trips to Laughlin NV.

Ken is dearly grieved by his loving partner of nearly ten years, Dinah Grosch. They shared their lives, many adventures, and love for one another. He is survived by his children Cristine Gorria and husband Gerald of Murrieta CA, Cynthia Vincent and husband Franklyn of Salida CA, and Kevin Oleyar and wife Adriana of Oahu, HI. He will be missed terribly by his ten grandchildren, Katrina Lohman, Felicia Jenkins, Liana Wood, Tarisa Gorria, Jared Gorria, Audra Gorria, Justin Vincent, Benjamin Vincent, Gabriel Vincent, and Kaile Oleyar. Their spouses, Jeffrey Lohman, Brandon Jenkins, Ryan Wood, Elizabeth Vincent, Jacqueline Vincent; and his nine great-grandchildren, Ewan, Graham, and June Lohman; Abigail and Oliver Lykins; Jude and Ezra Wood; Beretta and Amaya Vincent. Ken also leaves behind his brother, George Oleyar Jr. and wife Donna of Ansonia CT, three nieces, his Aunt Helen Mino, and many cousins and friends.
