Obituary
Capt (ret.) Kenneth Hodges Bell passed away on July 4, 2013 following a bravely fought battle with cancer. Ken was a veteran of the US Navy who served his country with honor in Vietnam. Following his naval career, Ken worked as a professional engineer for RBF Consulting and the City of Indian Wells.
Ken is survived by his wife of 36 years, Nancy Bell; his brother, Ambassador (ret.) Randolph Bell; and his nephew, Lt. Cdr. Christopher Bell.
A memorial service will be held at O’Connor Mortuary, 25301 Alicia Pkwy, Laguna Hills at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 10. Contributions to the American Cancer Society.

We just learned of Ken’s passing from MVCC. Sending our deepest sympathy for your loss. We have fond memories of golfing with the two of you at MVCC. Ken was a great guy and will be missed.

Dear Nancy, I was so sorry to hear of Ken’s passing. I had the pleasure of taking care of Ken for many years at Dr. Elizabeth Steinberg’s office. I was always sorry I never was able to say good bye to him and many other patients I had developed relationships with over the 20 years I worked there. I have thought about the 2 of you many times and wandered how you were doing. I will never forget Ken and his standing appt., 3:00pm every 3rd Friday. The Navy was good for Ken but not the sun! Nancy please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Nancy-
I also worked with Ken at RBF. As a matter of fact, along with Gary Miller, Ken hired me. I even remember joining you and Ken for lunch a few times at the Mission Viejo Country Club. I ran into Ken a few years after I left RBF and it was like we had seen each other yesterday. He truly was an officer and a gentleman and will be missed by all who knew him.

On behalf of everyone in the office, we are saddened to learn of Ken’s passing. Ken was well-liked and highly thought of by every member of the staff – both those who are now working here and those who have left. Personally, I thought of Ken not just as a patient, but as a friend. I would have done anything for Ken. Ken has been in our prayers since we learned of his condition.
