Kenneth Franklin Killian 52
Born December 29, 1954, died on Sunday, June 4, 2006 at Sea off the Coast of San Diego, California.
He is survived by his loving sons, Jason and Nick Killian; beloved sisters, Beth Goss and Carol Garfield; beloved brothers, Duane Keeling and Gary Jensen and devoted mother, Vina Keeling. He was dearly loved by many and will be deeply missed by all.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2006 ~ 4:00 P.M. at O’Connor Laguna Hills Mortuary, Laguna Hills, CA.

Although I didn’t know you except through your wonderful mother Vina with all her love and pride in you for the man you had become, I’m sure that I would have liked to know you better if time and distance had permitted.

I was so deeply saddened to read of Ken’s death. While I did not know him well, he touched my life nonetheless. He was a student at Grossmont College where I teach and I used to see him regularly out in the quad area near my office. We said hello to one another for a while, and those hellos turned into conversations, and eventually he began to come by my office to chat. I didn’t know him well, but I learned that he could cook, that he had a marvelous sense of humor and that he had a beautiful spirit. I will miss him, his wonderful smile and his kind soul.
