Obituary

In loving memory of Kelly Michelle Lawson, 32, of San Juan Capistrano, California, who was released into the arms of angels on May 9, 2015.

Kelly is survived by her parents, MaryLois & Steven Kuhn, Craig & Kathleen Lawson, her siblings, Jody (James) Masters, Lori (David) Ginther, Bryan Lawson, Ellice (Luis) Miller, Zachary (Tara) Lawson, Bradford (Nicole) Kuhn as well as her many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. Bree Masters, Morgan Masters, McKenzie (Scott) Messick, Blake Masters, Tanner Masters, Alexis Ginther, Jaelyn Miller, Damani Miller, Bellamie Miller, Preston Kuhn and Jack Kuhn.

From an early age Kelly had a love for life, adventure and animals! She was truly a free-spirit. She loved the outdoors…skateboarding, skim boarding, snowboarding, paddle boarding (really anything that involved “boarding”)! Living in Southern California her entire life, she was an avid Chargers fan. Kelly had a passion for music and concerts and loved sharing new songs and artists with those around her. She was magnetic at making friends and making people laugh. Such a beautiful person inside and out. Kelly adored animals and they were always drawn to her. She frequently rescued puppies to bring home and love.

Many of you have known her by Kelly, Kel, Kel Bel, Kelly Michelley, Kelly Belly, Face or Bub. We will now also know her as our guardian angel.

A memorial service will take place on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 28291 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677. A reception will immediately follow the service.

Kelly, or as you would have me call you “what’s my name Skip?” you will be greatly missed and I will cherish all of our times together, our time at “wanted” our late & long drives through every city in soCal, our walks with the dogs and all the concerts. The music, laughs and your “bright eyes” will forever be with me. The time with my family at the pumpkin patch, I think of often and Bella’s always asking about you: “have you talked to Kelly”. My family always considered you a part of it and the memory of you playing the keyboard and singing with William in my family room will always be etched in my mind. Our long nights at the wine bar and even longer breakfasts in dana point, to the baseball games and hanging with you and your brother Brian. Our long chats on txt msg I will save forever. Know you are loved so very much & I miss you greatly.
    Love always B. Daley

You look the exact same since high school Kelly! I will never forget you teaching me how to make homemade mac n cheese at your house! I still do it that way sometimes and I always think of you. You were always so positive about life, balanced and had such an infectious smile and laugh! I will miss you!!

Kelly-I cannot believe the day would come where I had to say my final “goodbye” to you. You’ve left this world too soon, and I am saddened by your departure. We shared a lot of great memories and I believe we met each other for a reason. To teach the other person about life, love, and forgiveness. We were there for each other during hard times and I will always be grateful for that. I am comforted knowing that your struggles are at rest now, so that you can continue watching over all of the lives that you’ve touched with your compassion & generosity. You had the HUGEST heart and I will remember that the most. I hope you know that all is forgiven with us. Thank you for that important lesson. You will be missed. Rest in paradise Kelly XxX
