Kay Chapman
March 29, 1945 – April 16, 2024

Kathryn M. Chapman, "Kay", passed away, relatively suddenly of cardiac arrest, in Lake Forest, California on April 16, 2024. She grew up in Pasadena California with her parents Bob and Virginia Chapman (deceased) and her older brother Rick Chapman (deceased 2013). She was a fun spirit who had many adventures travelling with her friends and at her family beach house in Laguna over the years. She possessed natural creative talents, including drawing and painting for fun and for business. She received her cosmetology license and was a successful hairstylist for many years before holding various executive administration positions in Orange County. She was twice married and divorced, eventually leading a happy single life where she enjoyed gatherings with friends and family including lunches in the harbor, Christmas dinners, Easter brunches, and walks through her neighborhood of Laguna Woods. Things that always made her smile were her relationship with God, her sweet cats, a cold glass of champagne, her nieces, nephew, and their children, and of course, In-N-Out. Her beautiful energy, bright green eyes, and infectious smile will be missed by many but are now shared again with her parents, her brother, her friends, and of course her beloved cats. We love you, Kay.

A memorial service will be held at O'Connor Mortuary in Laguna Hills on Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 10:00am-12:00pm and all friends are welcome.
